Wodonga Council is seeking a dynamic project professional to drive the implementation of our new Procurement and Contract Management System. - Roll Out the New System
Take the lead on delivering our new Procurement and Contract Management System—from planning to launch—making sure everything runs smoothly and delivers what’s needed.
- Work with People Across Council
Bring teams on the journey by running workshops, gathering feedback, providing support, and helping everyone get the most out of the new system.
- Keep Things Compliant
Make sure the system ticks all the right boxes—meeting procurement laws, regulations, and internal policies while keeping things simple for users.

Location – onsite
This role will require you to be onsite during working hours.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in procurement, project management, business, or a related discipline.
- Sound understanding of procurement practices, contract law, and compliance under the Local Government Act 2020 (Vic).
- Demonstrated experience implementing procurement or ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proven professionalism, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to provide the following.
- A copy of a recent National Police Check (less than 3 months)
- A current driver’s licence

The completion of a pre-employment functional assessment (paid for by the council) might also be required.
