The role
The School Crossing Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of school children and pedestrians at controlled school crossings. Key responsibilities include assisting children in safely crossing the road supporting school personnel in educating students on road safety and aiding pedestrians who require assistance. The role also involves attending regular team meetings and training sessions performing additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader Compliance and rotating across various school crossings as needed.
What You Will Do
- Ensure the safety of school children parents and pedestrians at designated school crossings.
- Assist schools in educating students on road safety and responsible pedestrian behaviour.
- Rotate through various school crossings as directed.
- Report safety concerns and breaches of road regulations to the appropriate authorities.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on best practices.

- The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
