The role
This position will assist the kindergarten teacher or Educational Leader in the day-to-day operation of the kindergarten service to deliver a quality kindergarten program.
Key selling points
Work with and learn from a team of experienced Early Childhood professionals.
Shape young minds and foster foundational skills in early childhood, playing a critical role in childrens development.

Key aspects of the role include the following
- Supervise and ensure a smooth transition during routine times;
- Interact with children (all interactions have an educational role), being aware that children are learning attitudes, absorbing ideas, imitating language and using the Educator as a model. Interactions include enjoying, helping, encouraging and responding to children;
- Work cooperatively with the teacher under their direction and guidance, and contribute ideas and skills to the program.
- Assisting the service to deliver a quality care and education program to children;
Key Selection Criteria
Our ideal candidate will be able to show us the following.

Successful completion of a Diploma of Childrens Services.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and other community members.

Ability to use own initiative working as an effective member of a team or undertaking tasks independently.

Demonstrated understanding and practical application of the National Quality Framework.
