About the Role 

 

The People and Culture Officer is responsible to support a range of administrative functions to support the wider People and Culture team, including health safety and wellbeing management and programs, a wide range of project delivery that the team is responsible for, support for the human resources functions of the team and other tasks as required. 

 

This is a limited tenure role until the end of the financial year. Previous HR administration experience is not necessary. 

 

Some of the duties of the role include: 

    • Assisting with recruitment, induction, learning and development, and employment management tasks. 
    • Conducting data audits and support organisational reporting responsibilities as directed. 
    • Participating in continuous system improvements and upgrades including quality audits, procedure updates, and data collection and management. 
    • Assisting as required with a wide range of People and Culture projects including enterprise bargaining, plans and strategies, staff consultation, surveys and workshops. 

 

What you will bring 

 

We are looking for applications showing us that you have: 

    • Demonstrated experience in administrative support processes, either in human resources or another area with transferrable skills. 
    • Ability to quickly learn new processes and accurately apply these processes. 
    • Experience working with high volumes of administration and managing multiple demands. 
    • Proven ability to follow instructions and work according to established processes. 
    • Ability to provide good customer service and ensure the quality of work outputs.
