About the Role

This is a casual position that will join a fun and passionate team, assisting with administrative tasks, program delivery and events as required for the Baranduda and Felltimber community centres.

You will:

  • Support the delivery of programs and events as directed by the Community Centres coordinator or administrative staff, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor set-up, kitchen support, facilitating activities and directing patrons;
  • Provide advice & information on the service to clients and members of the public;
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls, email enquiries, and face-to-face visits;
  • Keep up to date and informed with programs and activities at the centre;
  • Ensure the Community Centre is maintained in a safe, secure and clean manner.

 

What you will bring

We are looking for applications showing us that you are:

  • Interested in working in a community setting.
  • Able to present us with a Certificate IV in Administration or related field with limited experience, or less formal qualifications with work skills and relevant experience.
  • Experienced in an administrative role.
  • Proactive, organised and efficient, with the ability to achieve prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Able to work within council framework and systems.
