About the Role

Wodonga Council is committed to planning and delivering events for our community to experience and enjoy.

You will work with other passionate people and will see the impact of your work in the community. Some of the duties are to:

  • Assist in the delivery of events of all sizes to a high standard.
  • Provide administrative support to Council owned events.
  • Provide advice and advocacy on event management to both internal Council departments and external organisations.

What you will bring

We are looking for applications showing us that you are:

A team player with good people skills who understands the importance of influence in achieving team outcomes.

  • An effective communicator who can build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Someone who has a broad knowledge of OHS and risk management.
  • Someone who has the tools to manage their own priorities and work independently when required.
  • Hold a relevant qualifications in events, hospitality and tourism or a transferable combination of experience, education and training.
