What you will be doing

As the Events Coordinator you will be part of a creative team that brings the community and visitors to Wodonga together to be entertained, educated and be connected. You will work with community groups to deliver events, and you’ll be the project lead designing and delivering an annual calendar of council events.

 

What you will bring

With experience in coordinating event logistics and an understanding of regulations applying to events, you are ready to bring your passion and broad knowledge of the events industry to the team at Wodonga Council.

To be successful in the role you will be a great team player who is quick to develop good relationships, is driven, hardworking, collaborative, solutions-oriented and passionate in delivering quality outcomes for our organisation.

Our ideal candidate will be able to show us their:

  • The ability to advise council and the community on the development and implementation of events.
  • Broad knowledge of OHS and risk management as it relates to events.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with variety of stakeholders, and enable the resolution of complex problems.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities to achieve set objectives in an efficient manner.
