The Role
</div>
<div>
As the Team Leader Communications, you will strategically identify, plan, and facilitate opportunities to promote Wodonga Council and develop Wodonga’s image through traditional media and online channels.
</div>
<div>
You will work across the organisation to identify stories and activities to promote the work of Wodonga Council to the community and key stakeholders, producing accurate and effective communications for a range of channels and audiences.
</div>

To be successful in the role you will be a great team player who is quick to develop good relationships, is driven, hardworking, collaborative, solutions-oriented and passionate in delivering quality outcomes for our organisation.
As the successful candidate, you will also be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in online communication channels and strategies
- Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of the print and electronic media and experience in identifying story opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a communications advisory capacity to staff at all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise requests, review priorities and reorganise workloads to achieve professional responsibilities with agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated excellent communications, professional writing and customer focus skills.
