Executive Assistant (Executive Services Officer) 

  • Permanent, full-time position 
  • Salary starting at $67,524 per annum plus superannuation

This is an exciting opportunity to start the new year in a new role with Wodonga Council. 

 

The Role 

In this dynamic role you will support the 3 directors at Wodonga Council being responsible for contributing to the successful operation of the Executive Services team though the provision of a high-level of administrative support to the Executive team and wider organisation. 

This fast-paced role will include managing the directors’ diaries, making travel arrangements for staff, administrative tasks and anything required to keep the day-to-day operations moving smoothly.  

The role will be central in maintaining and enhancing key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.  The Executive Services Officer must be prepared to deal confidently, effectively and promptly with a wide range of issues and projects. The role works with minimal supervision and demonstrates initiative to ensure deadlines are met.  

With no two days the same, you will need to be a solutions-based individual with a high-level of professionalism and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time. 

 

About you 

To be successful in the role you will be a great team player who is quick to develop good relationships, is driven, hardworking, collaborative, solutions-oriented and passionate in delivering quality outcomes for our organisation. 

 

As the successful candidate, you will also be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria. 

  1. Experience in an Executive Assistant role or similar.  
  2. High-level organisational skills with experience in managing and prioritising workflow.  
  3. Demonstrated initiative and capacity to solve problems and make decisions to achieve defined objectives. 
  4. Great computer literacy and application of Microsoft Office products and cloud-based software. 
  5. High level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
