People and Workplace Officer - Recruitment

We are looking for a helpful and enthusiastic human resources professional. Working within our small collaborative People and Workplace team, this role will co-ordinate the recruitment function while supporting general human resources operations. This busy dynamic role will expose you to a wide variety of professions from engineers to preschool teachers and finance to the arts.
You will advise and support our hiring managers through the recruitment process ensuring attraction campaigns are customised for each department’s unique needs. We need someone who can relate to our wider community, think outside the square and is focused on providing great outcomes for our people.
You will be extremely well-organised, able to work with our systems and processes while constantly on the lookout for improvement opportunities.
As the successful candidate, you will also be able to demonstrate the below key selection criteria.
1. Ability to think outside of the box and take a strategic approach to recruitment.
2. Experience using a human resources information system.
3. Experience in the identification and implementation of HR process improvements.
4. A strong customer focus with good written and verbal communication skills.
5. The ability to conduct work of a sensitive nature under strict confidentiality.
6. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks as required.
