Wodonga Council is seeking a Director Community Development to be a key member of council’s executive team and to continue to progress our thriving community. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who is a strategic thinker, outcome driven, with the ability to inspire, lead and manage people. 

Wodonga is one of the fastest-growing regional cities in Victoria. Combined with Albury, Wodonga is recognised as Australia’s 19th largest city.  Being strategically placed between Melbourne and Sydney we experience the most significant economy in North East Victoria.

The Director Community Development will play an integral role in fostering the culture of Wodonga Council as well as providing innovative solutions for our community.

This comprehensive and critical position will give you the opportunity to be involved in key initiatives including Council Plan and Business Plan development; community planning and development; community infrastructure planning and development; financial and budget planning; and policy development. The role will provide strategic direction and leadership to high-performing units including  Early Years and Family Services; Cultural Services and Tourism; Sport and Recreation and Community Planning and Wellbeing
